One of the oldest pieces that I'm comfortable with sharing (after a bit of minor tweaking). Older pieces just aren't up to my standard, or are just too tiny and irrelevant, at which point I'd prefer to compile them it one piece. This was supposed to be a species of small birds for a homebrew D&D campaign that never happened.
The color palette for this bird, along with the 2 alternates, are based on different species of macaws, the green one being the default colors purely because green is my favorite color, and the maracanan is the most underrated bird of the species (Hence why they're all basically doing fine, compared to the blue ones. Poor fellas.)
I'm still proud of how adorable those lil' dudes look, it's probably an example that being visually attractive can mask a lot of flaws in a piece. Not a concept I feel comfortable in actively pursuing, but it does help some things to age better in my eyes.
